After performing an internet research and looking at models I could find at local stores, I purchased this product (REI had a 20% off a single item).

Do you know the phrase "you recognize quality when you see it"? Well, this is one of those products. My first reaction when I got it out of the box was wow, I made the right choice!

It is very well built (and even pretty) and it holds my bikes with no problem. Probably it is not as stable as the professional stands that are bolted to the shop floor but is significantly more stable than the Spin Dr and Park (PCS 9-10-11) stands I saw in the stores.

Notes:
1. Unfolding the three legs requires some practice but is easy to do after you learn how to do it. Just flip the stand upside down, slightly spread the three legs in the same direction (e.g. counter clockwise) and then hold two legs and spread them apart. After a short practice, this should not take more than few seconds.

I own 3 different models of this brand. Of the three, this one has the best head from the arm out, but the other stands are better from there down. The weight of most bikes I work on (standard MTB, Cruiser, Hybrid) is just too much for this stand, and cause the inside pedal to hit the column when pedaling. Feedback Sports told me that light road bikes with small pedals do not have this problem. I don't work on many of those. Part of the problem is that I clamp on the seat post, rather than the top tube; to prevent scratches, dents, or conflicts with cables.

I have a mobile bike repair business, and owned 3 physical shops prior to this. I have used Ultimate or now Feedback Sports stands for somewhere about 15 years. When you mount the Feedback Sports wheel truing stand on top of this Pro-Elite stand, the big tri-shaped metal fixing knob for the arm head, hits the truing stand mount. Rarely do I feel so strongly about a product do I take the time to write a review, this stand is worth my time to share my positive experience.

I've wanted a work stand for years and was tired of either flipping the bikes upside down or leaning them against a wall. I was all set on buying the Park PCS-10 stand until I discovered the Feedback line. Feedback's design simply makes more sense and I can say, after messing around with a PCS-10 in a store, the Feedback stands are structurally sound and more stable than the PCS-10. No wobble at all. As long as you position the head over one of the legs, the rack won't tip while holding a bike. Many people complain about the stand's height slipping vertically, TIGHTEN THE QUICK RELEASE, just as you would a wheel skewer. Same with the head rotating down under load, TIGHTEN THE HEAD'S ADJUST KNOB MORE. Sounds simple enough, right?
