Missing one important feature/part, July 31, 2011 By This review is from: Nashbar Double-butted Aluminum Road Frame (Misc.) For the price it will be hard to find a better, lighter, and nicer finished frame. With the final assembly of my custom bike using this frame, the bike came in at 19.5 lbs, including compact crankset, clipless pedals, carbon fork, and profile aerobar...a complete bike with all parts, tires and tubes at 19.5 lbs! The only item missing that could be added and make this five stars is a simple, but necessary, cable stop that can be mounted on the shifter bosses instead of us folks that don't what those old and dangerous side mount shifters! Shimano makes a nice cable stop pair that would do the trick and Nashbar ought to offer this extra and save the buyer from needing to track down a solution.

Ridiculously nice for the money, August 15, 2011 By This review is from: Nashbar Double-butted Aluminum Road Frame (Misc.) Spending more on a frame won't get you much more than this frame. I agree with the other review, a pair of cable stops would have been greatly appreciated, as I'm sure they would cost very little to include but add about $15 to the price for most builders. ( Shimano Housing Stop for 1-1/8" Down Tube). Regardless, very light, stiff, and straightforward to assemble.
