Very nice stem, much better than my stock on bike, April 5, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Race Face Deus XC Stem (Sports) The RaceFace Deus XC stem is a very nice stem. After replacing my old stock stem, this one feels much more secure than the old one on my bike. This is probably due to this stem having four screws on the front face, as compared to the two on my old stem.
The only concern I have is that the part that fits over the front tube is shorter than expected. This leaves a gap on my bike that allows the headset to wobble around a bit. Looks like its time for me to get a bigger spacer to make things tighter.

The 100 was just a little too long. The 90 mm is perfect for the bike which is a large frame. It is very light which is also key.
