They work alright, June 29, 2011 By JH (near Seattle) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: SRAM Apex Shift/Brake Lever - 10 Speed (Sports) 900 miles so far. They were relatively easy to install. The brakes work well from the hoods as well as from the drops. The rear shifter was no problem to get adjusted so that it worked perfectly. I never could get the front shifter to shift smoothly.
