My new Specialized Tarmac Elite Rival had a Rival Drivetrain and Apex brakeset. The Apex stopping power was not that spectatular so I was going to upgrade to Rival brakeset but found these to be the superior set and well worth the extra $$ They are not only more powerful but they are also toe in adjustable, the Apex and Rival Brakeset's are not. They look better and save weight over the Apex set. Amazons price was great and they shipped quickly. I couldn't be happier !!

When your going down a steep grade brakes are kinda important. These are a bit pricey but worth it.
