I am surprised no one has reviewed this bike stand. Everything positive said in the reviews of Park Tool's PCS-10 bike stand applies to this one, plus it is stronger, lighter, and comes with Park Tool's top of the line Micro-Adjust repair stand clamp.
A key consideration is that the PCS-10 weighs 22 lbs. while the the PRS-25 weighs only 13 lbs. The PRS-25 does cost more, but it is light in weight, opens and closes smoothly, and is highly adjustable. It has worked perfectly for me.

Portable. Stowable. Stable is use. Poor design., March 19, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Park Tool Team Issue Portable Repair Stand - PRS-25 (Sports) I got this stand because I needed a smaller clamp width so I would not have to always extend my suspension seat post height to put my bike on the stand. This does accomplish the intended use since the clamp width is about an inch shorted than most other stands. But folding this down and unfolding is a bit tricky. The head can be removed (good) and sandwiched in between the upper and lower portions of the stand when closed. Sounds like a good idea but in practice it is tough for one person to juggle. I have almost dropped the stand head on my toes more than once.
I would suggest just leaving the head in place if you can. But this does make storing and transport more difficult. The work stand itself is so top heavy and off balance with the legs folded but head still mounted that it will not stand up vertically even in a corner. It has to be laid down flat. Only way to stand it vertically for storage is to remove the head and put it in "storage" mode.

Park Tools PRS-25 Team Issue Portable Repair Stand, March 21, 2012 By YourUncleFats "Krunk" (Houston Tx) - See all my reviews This review is from: Park Tool Team Issue Portable Repair Stand - PRS-25 (Sports) as an amateur/recreational rider with several bikes and a background as a mechanic, i can appreciate this stand. it may cost a little more, but a worth every cent for the d-i-y bike people. the construction is sturdy and simple, its easy to use and assemble, not to mention light weight and has a small footprint on the floor when in use. the clamp is awesome! it can get into all the tight spots griping on to all of my road, tri, and cyclocross bikes, and im sure it can grab most anything else; yet gentle enuf not to damage my carbon fiber. i highly recommend this stand and think you will too. did i mention its silly easy to use and assemble?
